From loyal reader Crissa:
Dear Ash Vegas,
I’m wondering if you can answer the mystery of honking man.
Almost every workday between 10:45 am – 11:15 am a car drives by our offices and announces itself with a random spattering of honking. Sometimes the honking is straight quarter notes, sometimes there is a pattern, but it’s always honking on the move.
Since we are in the office (Walnut Street, between Broadway and Lexington) we never actually see ‘who’ is doing the honking! And we are curious… what is the story behind this elusive honking man???

that is the funniest thing that I have seen in a while. It's like the guy who gets what he thinks is a dirty video called Head Cleaner only to discover that it's a fuzzy vcr cleaner (old school). I cried when I read "it's the UPS or Fed Ex guy"….dang that was good Thank you 🙂

Perhaps it is the crooked contractor backing up a truck of more ill gotten gains to launder through his wife's' gallery.
Now I know why they left Tom Bombadil out of the movies. I'm sure he'd be right at home on some Citizen-Times comment sections.
How anti-climactic!
Wow. This is news? While we're at it, maybe we can get to the bottom of the cooling apple pies being stolen from area windowsills.
Mystery solved. But I was kinda hoping it was this guy:
