Some of what’s going around:

Asheville Beat Tape Collective Vol. 2.

-More fun Moogfest photos.

-Asheville band The Night Lights featured on Lifehacker.

A new band called The Night Lights, out of Asheville, NC, has a new self-titled EP out that fits perfectly into our Work Sounds series. You could classify them as a sort of ambient, indie electronica duo, but whatever you call them, they’re great for keeping on unobtrusively in the background.

-New Arts 2 People program, the Handcrafted Artisan Revitalization Program:

Sign up starts NOW.  Arts 2 People has secured 91 Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville for its Holiday Market.  This is the first of many new vending opportunities being created by the HARP.  Its a prime spot in walkable downtown Asheville right next to the Orange Peel.

To become a Holiday Market vendor you must first become a member of the HARP.  Memberships are not subject to jury. Members of this not for profit program of Arts 2 People will have access to appy for all of HARP’s programing.  Plus you will recieve all these additional benefits.

-Butter-me-up note of the day:

THanks a TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON. So grateful you are serving as intermediary to spread the word…. I would be really happy if you find the time and interest to share it.
Call or email if you want to know more.
Cheers,
