The Enemy Lovers could be Asheville’s next big band. Folks are telling me that The Enemy Lovers are the darling of regional musical talent scouts and are poised to break through. They successfully raised big cash to record their most recent EP, titled The Enemy Lovers.
The band is scheduled to play Stella Blue on July 24 for Stella Blue’s annual anti-Bele Chere party, which always has a great line-up. Get there and see them.
I’ve never seen the band live, but I just listened to their new EP. I have to say that I’m officially on the bandwagon. I’m making it a point to see these guys later this month. You should, too.
I’ll give you a copy of their new EP if you are the first, in the comments section of this post, to tell me what the words “Bele Chere” mean.

Dang…always a day late and a dollar short.
Looks like Jeremy wins. Jeremy, I’ll email you.

I’ll share with you, too, Ami!
Ooops, hit refresh and saw I wasn’t first.
Good luck to those guys! : )
Bele Chere means "beautiful living" – but I don’t want a copy of the EP – I have too many CD cases in my house. Maybe you could email me the tracks and let someone else win the physical copy.
Beautiful living!
"Beautiful living!"
The Enemy Lovers are pretty darn fantastic.
