Asheville’s newest downtown restaurant: The Twisted Crepe

Share

Asheville’s ever-changing restaurant scene gets a new player later this month with The Twisted Crepe.

Dustin Pulliam, who is related to the Pulliam family of Asheville, is opening his first restaurant, which will feature – you guessed it – crepes. Pulliam said he hopes to open by July 15. Wednesday afternoon, he and former Asheville City Councilman Tommy Sellers were moving equipment into the location on Haywood Street next to cafe ello.

Crepes are hot in Asheville these days. Bouchon just opened a French street food window at its location on Lexington Avenue that also features crepes. We’ve been here before – Francois had a crepe shop back in the day on Broadway.

I want to go to the twisted crepe but need to know when the best day and time is the best, if anyone knows. Crepes have always been my favorites. In Illinoins there was a crepe shope in the mall and I went there all the time. Now it is gone. The alternative was I HOP. Wasn't close to a rel crepe, but I didn't know where else to go.
Here I am in the mountains in NC and love to go to Asheville. Just want to know when a good time is to go.

The Twisted Crepe is great! It's really filling and a great new change! Just what Asheville needed. The price is right too! I get my crepe fix weekly!!

Today (sunday) we went to the twisted crepe, only to find out it was closed on sunday. Special events go on.
Crepes are the best. Couldn't wait to try the crepes.
We came from Sapphire, NC. Checking on the interent, I did'nt find anything on being closed on sunday. Perhaps I missed it. Ended up having scrambled at another place.
Very disappointed.

I love crepes! Asheville has some of the best restaurants and people

restaurant in Asheville although it’s hard to choose.
Everyone needs to support local bussinesses they are truly unique.
