Cool. Press release here:
As eBooks grow in popularity and social networks are booming, Type-A Parent just opened the world’s first Social eBook Store. The new store will feature eBooks for parent bloggers and digital moms and dads, including featured “Social eBook” titles.
When someone buys one of the Social eBook designated titles, they get:
* Access to a private Type-A Parent group with forum for that eBook
* Direct access to the eBook’s author in that group
* The chance to interact with others who are reading the same book to network and learn together
* For some authors, invitation to private chats at Type-A Parent
How else is the eBook store social? Authors can sell their own eBooks there. There are three options:
* Sell an existing eBook in the Type-A Parent store as a featured, official title with the option to sell it as a Social eBook.
* Sell an existing eBook currently published on another site (Amazon, Barnes and Noble or other affiliate programs) via a link from Type-A Parent to your book off-site.
* Submit a proposal to write an official Type-A Parent Guide.
