Gypsy electronica band Beats Antique plays the Orange Peel next month: check them out a month early Tuesday night as local design contesting website Creative Allies hosts their live concert webcast.
A band with roots in bellydance, performance art and electronic music, Beats Antique celebrates its new release, Blind Threshold, with a webcast Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. Blind Threshold is available in all major download stores and from CD Baby. The webcast is broadcast live from the campus of Ex’pression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, CA.
Hosted by Creative Allies, an online design community that lets anyone submit art in official contests for artists like M.I.A., OK Go, Amanda Palmer, Jack Johnson and Thievery Corporation, the webcast is free and open to the public. Beats Antique has performed at Lollapalooza, the Austin City Limits Music Festival and Outside Lands, and has toured with Bassnectar and Les Claypool of Primus.
