Without a doubt, the BB&T Building is the UGLIEST building in Asheville (or almost anywhere for that matter).
Both inside and out, the building is dated, dark and dank.
The entire facade of the structure needs to be re-clad with something brighter.
What a great location this would be for a restaurant or cocktail lounge — both at ground level and on the top floor. I’ll bet they would be very successful in this tourist town.
The only good thin about this building are the stunning views from some of the higher floor offices.
