That’s what this story says:
CLAYTON TOWNSHIP, Michigan — Cathy Weaver still believes that art can help heal people touched by mental illness.
But her non-profit Artrageous Minds and her plan to build a local art gallery and studio have suffered some setbacks.
Just weeks after an article about her mission ran in The Journal last year, her laptop — along with all her stored research and contacts to help her dream launch — were stolen from her home.
The Kettering University graphic artist, whose teenage son Andy suffers from bipolar disorder, is now in the process of moving to North Carolina. There, she hopes to re-ignite fundraising for her group, with plans to start an art therapy camp and open a business where people could also sell their work.
She already has scouted business areas near Asheville, N.C. where she could open an ice cream shop and consignment art store she’d name Art Ala Mode, a branch of Artrageous Minds.
“It would be food for the soul and art for the soul,” said the Clayton Township resident.
