Artimus Pyle jammed with local musician Woody Wood and his gang at Downtown After Five a couple of weeks ago, and nobody seemed to care. Artimus is the well-known former drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd who, last year, was arrested and charged for not filing as a registered sex offender down in Florida. I blogged it here, and WLOSers picked up on it and ran with it. Guess the city has forgiven, and the media has forgotten.
Meantime, we have another Downtown After Five coming up this weekend. At 5:15, there’s Plato de Mambo, Asheville’s hot Latin dance ensemble. The Waybacks play about 7:30. They rock.
