There was a rumor a few weeks back that Hendersonville was on the verge of getting its first downtown microbrewery. At the time, I wondered aloud if Appalachian Craft Brewery was the operation that would make the move. It seemed logical. The brewery has been operating in Fletcher, and its owners have had its eye on expansion.
Now the rumor has been confirmed by Mountain Xpress beer writer Anne Fitten Glenn. Here’s her Twitter blast from earlier today:
