All aboard the Electric Shamrock Express! Asheville Pizza, Orange Peel and LaZoom team up for Monday party

Wanted to let AshVegas know that the Peel and Asheville Pizza & Brewing are teaming up for a fun local event on Monday, March 17th.

As part of our Asheville Brewing Company Electronic Music Series @ The Orange Peel (which is in its 2nd year – born out of Mike Rangel’s love of the genre of electronic music and his and the Peel’s mutual desire to help spread the word about cool, up and coming electronic artists playing locally, to the broadest fan base we could), we are working with LaZoom to arrange a special tour, leaving the French Broad Food Co-Op space at 7:30pm on Monday, 3/17 for an hour and 15 minute downtown party on wheels, called the Electric Shamrock Express!

Some limited ride tickets may be available for purchase, but right now, the only way to get them is to win them, through Asheville Brewing’s facebook page or the Orange Peel’s facebook page – which will both be posting info about some upcoming opportunities to win tickets in the next few days. We’ll be giving away about 30 total rides. Facebook pages are:

The plan is to dress up in St. Patty’s Day finery with an electronic/rave-y flair if possible, ride the bus with the fun folks from LaZoom and Asheville Brewing, making several stops around downtown for a pint, ending up at the Orange Peel for the Glitch Mob show, which starts at 9pm. The show is likely to be sold out by St. Patty’s, but a few folks will be able to win prize packs that include tickets on the Lazoom Electronic Shamrock Express plus tickets to Glitch Mob at the Peel directly following, as well as other cool swag, like Electronic Music Series tshirts and glow accessories.

Together we’re bringing a big number of electronic musicians, bands, and djs to the area this spring, both at the Orange Peel as part of this series, and at the Mill Room on Ashland Ave.
