Looks like a cool show. Press release:

The Asheville Area Arts Council is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition by Asheville photographer Erin Fussell, Twenties: Decade in Polaroid, 1999-2008, opening February 3 at the ARTERY.

Erin’s photographs chronicle the decade of her twenties, ending in 2008 when Polaroid stopped making instant film and the artist turned 29. The immediacy of Polaroid instant film is suited to the subject matter of young adulthood. From the artist’s statement about the show: “A turbulent, emotional experience is translated visually through scratches, ink and other imperfections left on the image.”
