New Belgium Brewing’s “Fat Tire presents the Tour de Fat kicks off the 2017 season and celebrates the brewery’s first year in Asheville this Saturday, May 20.

Tour de Fat will feature a performance from alternative rock band, Third Eye Blind. Local singer-songwriter and recent Battle of the Bands winner, Ian Ridenhour will also take the stage, along with an ensemble cast of artists, performers, vaudeville acts, magicians and comedians. New Belgium will offer 12 oz. pours of its year-round line-up for $5, including Fat Tire Belgian Style Ale, Voodoo Ranger IPA, and Citradelic Tangerine IPA. Attendees will also be able to try the new Fat Tire Belgian White Ale before it officially comes out in August.

Tour de Fat Asheville Details

When:  Saturday, May 20, 2017, 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Location: New Belgium Brewing, 21 Craven Street, Asheville; Free shuttles will run from Kmart at 1001 Patton Ave. from 3-10 p.m. There is very limited parking at Craven Street.

 

Run of Show:

4:00 p.m. – Doors Open, Fire Leopard Sedan Halen on Main Stage

5:00 p.m. – Ian Ridenhour

6:00 p.m. – Fire Leopard Sedan Halen and Slow Ride

6:15 p.m. – Sputnik, featuring performers, vaudeville acts, magicians, comedians, and mind-blowing provocateurs

7:00 p.m. – Dance Contest and Cruiser Giveaway

7:45 p.m. – Third Eye Blind

9:00 p.m. – Adios! (curfew)

Benefiting: Asheville on Bikes

The mission of Asheville on Bikes is to cultivate a culture of urban and commuter cycling through advocacy and celebration.

Price: 

·       Tickets: $25 +fees

·       Tickets are first come first served and are available for purchase in advance online or at New Belgium Brewing

·       Donations for non-profits will be accepted at the show

·       Beer: $5 for a 12 oz. pour
