Here’s the note from loyal reader Jennifer. Help keep this wonderfully successful event wonderfully successful by pitching in:

Just as TEDxAVL 2009 winds down, TEDxAVL 2010 is gearing up. Want to join in the fun?

Come to Saturday’s TEDxAVL discussion, volunteer sign-up and pizza party, 12 noon at Avl Pizza on Merrimon. Come on out, talk about this year’s event and ideas, tell us how to make things even better in 2010, and sign up for the toughest volunteer job you’ll ever love. MAJOR cool points guaranteed.

And speaking of 2010, mark your calendar for the first meeting about next year’s TEDxAVL event: Monday, October 5 at 6 p.m., location TBA. All volunteer leadership positions, including Executive Director, are open until filled by group consensus.

And speaking of the wrap-up, here’s the OFFICIAL TEDxAVL wrap-up blog entry, complete with our gorgeous Klein Digital trailers, links to news coverage, blog entries and even how to follow 2009 presenters Glenis Redmond and David McConville on Twitter.

And here’s our first fan video! Thanks to The Royal We for recording 9 minutes of theremin goodness from Moog Foundation House Band members Tanfield and Hamilton.

TEDxAVL became an institution overnight. Thanks Asheville! Next time we’ll do all we can to make sure everyone gets to see the show.

See you at Asheville Pizza, party people!
