The sleek new full-sized lululemon athletica store opened Friday in Biltmore Village and was promptly mobbed by fans of the comfortable workout clothing. The clothing is specially designed for sweaty yoga and other workouts – it wicks away moisture and doesn’t hold b.o.

The clothing is expensive. It’s no lie that this is the place that sells $100 yoga pants. But they are beautifully made and will last. (And they will make your ass look great.)

Many in my Crossfit crew are big fans. Check ’em. And congratulations to the employees who have stuck with the store, which opened as just a small showroom about two years ago on Broadway in downtown Asheville. They’ve done a great job of connecting with, and becoming a part of, the community.
