New York Fashions sells “urban fashion” for men, women and kids. Formerly at 120-B Merrimon, it was displaced by Trader Joe’s buying its building, which will be demolished to make room for the new Asheville Trader Joe’s.

From one of the owners’ Facebook page:

Dear Customers, We have some great news to share with you this summer! Recently, our company NEW YORK FASHIONS have moved to 257 SHORT COXE AVE, OFF BILTMORE AVE. next to SMILE STARTERS (KIDS) DENTIST. (Our phone number will remain the same.) The showroom is a lot more spacious and is equipped with better lighting. We love it here and hope you will too!! Regardless of the changes to our showroom, we guarantee our price and quality to be the most competitive in the market. FREDDIE,and I will continue to improve our products and service like always. We wish to make your buying experience more pleasant and efficient for this new season. Best Regards MICHELLE AND FREDDIE NEW YORK FASHIONS 257 SHORT COXE AVE ASHEVILLE N.C. 28801 (828) 225-6900
