The Fiore’s restaurant space on College Street across from Pack Square Park will soon be home to Aqua Cafe & Bar, according to a cardboard sign in the window. Fiore’s, an Italian eatery, closed earlier this year when Fred Cerrato locked the place up following a dispute with his son, Anthony Cerrato, who had operated Fiore’s there for about the past five or six years.

Anthony is now running Strada, an Italian place on Broadway. Fred is preparing to open a new restaurant, tentatively called Fred’s Kitchen, on Hendersonville Road in the location that he has long owned. Most recently, it was Fiore’s south. The restaurant is connected to Fred’s Speakeasy at the same location.

Aqua Cafe & Bar has a basic Facebook page. Don’t see much else. Anyone?
