There’s renewed energy for getting Asheville-area bloggers together, just like we did in the old days. It’s gonna be great. Press release:

The new Asheville Blogger Society (ABS) kicks off a monthly event for bloggers on Tuesday, March 6, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at the Asheville Brewing Company on Coxe. All Asheville bloggers are invited to eat, drink, hang out and learn how to be a better blogger.

ABS was founded in 2011 by local bloggers Jim MacKenzie and Sarah Giavedoni as a way to connect Asheville’s blogging community. Its mission is reconnect and re-energize Asheville’s blogging community, and share information on being a better blogger (each meeting features a brief educational presentation on subjects ranging from Pinterest to WordPress to running ads on your site).

Monthly ABS events are meant to a bring area bloggers together and share ideas. There is no cost to attend or join, and no business or promotional agenda other than bettering the local blogging community.

If you are an area blogger of any age or any level and want to feel part of a connected, larger community, you are invited. The ABS encourages you to come with a few ideas, a few questions, and, of course, a thirst for some delicious local beer.

For more information about this event, find the Asheville Blogger Society on Facebook or email questions to Jim at [email protected].
