crest_mountain_dinner_show_asheville_2015Press release here, from loyal reader Katie:

I’m excited to tell you about a new entertainment venue, The Crest Mountain Dinner Show. Located only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville we are bringing mid-week entertainment and mountaintop concerts to locals and visitors throughout the year. Enclosed is information about our two preview events in April, and have included information about our first full performance in August. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you on Crest Mountain!

Crest Mountain Dinner Show announces two April preview events!

Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner provided by M7, one of the premiere catering firms in the region (full bar available) and live music by local and regional performers, surrounded by panoramic views of the mountains and valleys of the Blue Ridge, in our 300-seat windowed pavilion.

April 10- THE LEGACY MOTOWN REVUE: Paying tribute to legendary icons of Motown, four talented performers dance and sing, with an amazing six-piece horn band, transporting you back to one of the most influential periods of American musical history with R&B, Beach, and Soul music that will have you dancing in the aisles.

April 15- CREST MOUNTAIN CANTEEN USO TRIBUTE: Step back in time and enjoy the big band sounds of the ’40s with Betty Grable, The Andrews Sisters, and more! Featuring live music, song and dance by professional local performers and, of course, your host, Bob Hope (local favourite, Mondy Carter).

Doors open at 5:30pm for cocktails, 6:00pm buffet, and 7pm showtime

In August Crest Mountain Dinner Show will present RADIO GALS, co-produced with Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre and will run Sunday/Wednesday/Thursdays in August. We are offering an introductory price of $40 for groups/seniors/military, and $44 for general public; Show-only tickets are $25.
