Here’s the deal: The travel platform Mosey.com is holding a promotion in Asheville wherein folks sign up at Mosey, create a local itinerary and are entered to win that itinerary. Mosey folks will take the creator of their favorite itinerary around in a ’76 VW bus on Dec. 5 (and the tab is on them). Here are the details:
About Mosey/the roadtrip
Mosey is a new platform founded by a team from California College of the Arts’ Design MBA program for creating and sharing beautifully designed microguides for neighborhoods and cities- think of it as a resource for finding the best curated itineraries of things to do in your town or while you’re traveling whether you’re a foodie, an art buff, a shopaholic, a music lover, etc.
On the heels of their mobile app and website redesign launch, a few members of the Mosey team are hitting the road, traveling in a retrofitted 1976 VW bus from Washington, DC back to San Francisco, stopping in towns and cities along the way to make new friends and check out the best of the American South’s culture, design, cuisine, etc.
The Mosey team will be hanging out in DC from November 29th til December 2nd when the roadtrip kicks off and we’re looking to connect with passionate locals who want to share their city with us.

1 Create a Mosey
Download the app or go to Mosey.com. Create an account, and make a Mosey. Connect your 4 favorite spots for your best 4 hours in your city.
2 Submit Your Mosey
Tweet the link to your Mosey using @wemosey with #GreatMosey or share it with us on Facebook. Submission deadline ismidnight, 2 days before we land in your city. We’ll pick a winner lickity-split.
3 Ride Shotgun
Hop in our ‘76 VW Bus and hang with the Mosey team for the best 4 hours in your city… by you! Can’t make it… well, then send a friend!
