There’s also another (smaller) dog on Charlotte St. on an old sign in front of the parking lot where Ingles used to be.
The ‘Depot Club’ has been bought by a former Asheville couple that moved to Italy and have now returned to lay down roots. Its in the process of being turned into a residence and studio. Its going to get a pretty significant face lift, too. I’ll keep the new owners names private since its not a commercial job.
How do reporters look up owners of property?
Word on the street, or at least the parking lot of the wedge is gully from fine arts league did the building. And apparently stay tuned for a new tenent with some big creds…
The art is by the artist Ray Noland aka CRO aka the artist who has artwork on the ‘Jeweled Forest’ city bus.
He has recently relocated back to Chicago, but he left some of his incredible urban street-art style with us to enjoy.

Hello,
David Frechter here. My partner, David Stewart and I are the owners of the former Southern Depot Club. Renovations are under way. The ground floor of the building will be David Stewart’s studio. His website is http://www.davidcstewart.com. The upper floor of the building (2500 sq ft) will be commerical rental space. We hope to find another artist to rent the space. The colorful property across the street at 342 belongs to Randy Shull – he also is responsible for the artwork on the exterior. I can be contacted at [email protected]
