To cure the wintertime blues and to celebrate Swannanoa’s growing business community, the Swannanoa Business Association is sponsoring the 2nd Annual “Taste of Swannanoa” on Friday, January 27th at 7 p.m. at Warren Wilson College’s Bryson Gym.
The event features tastings from your favorite Swannanoa restaurants and catering professionals. Eat ’til it’s gone! Your ticket includes food, wine or beer, & entertainment. playing acoustic variety music by Steve Moseley form the “Sons of Ralph”
Proceeds and any donated coats, hats, sweaters, or gloves will be to the Swannanoa Community Council’s Emergency Assistance Program.
Swannanoa purveyors of fine food, wine, and beer this year will include Fresh As Can Bee Catering, Chow Time Pizza, The Doghouse and Dairy Bar, Auntie M’s Pies, Michael Gentry of Everyone Cooks!, Eye Scream Parlour, La Bamba Burrito Express, Okie Dokie’s Smokehouse, The Hot Dog King, Puebla Mexican Restaurant, & others.
Swannanoa businesses donating to the event include Appalachian Creek Nursery & Landscape, Valley Truck Services, Auntie M’s Pies, Dog Oasis Grooming Salon, Buckeye Kennels, Lucy Bickers Counseling, Jennifer M Bullman Consulting, Asheville Quickprint, & more.
Tickets are on sale now: $16 – adults, $11 – seniors 60+, until Wednesday, January 25th. Tickets at door are $4 more, until sold out.
