Movember Foundation Benefit at CrossFit Pisgah

To support men’s health DixonPacifica Real Estate is sponsoring a Work Out of The Day (WOD) with CrossFit Pisgah Saturday, November 16. For a recommended five dollar donation you can challenge yourself to a 17 minute workout, called Fight Gone Bad. No membership required and the workouts begin at 9am, 10am and 1pm.

The event benefits the Movember Foundation, a global charity known for putting moustaches on men’s faces. Movember supports health programs that combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges. These programs, directed by the Movember Foundation, are focused on awareness and education, living with and beyond cancer, staying mentally healthy, living with and beyond mental illness and research to achieve an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.

DixonPacifica and CrossFit Pisgah will match donations up to $500 and offer a SkiCountry Sports $25 gift card to the highest single donor. The workout, which includes exercises like wallball, box jumps, pushpresses and rows, will run in conjunction with CrossFit Pisgah’s regular scheduled classes.
