Ashvegas asked, and you answered. Creekside Taphouse is the new restaurant set to open in the former Ruby’s location in east Asheville.

Don’t have a lot of details yet, but click the link to check out their FB page. Here’s what they say:

We will be looking to open in late August please keep checking in to see our progress! Beer BBQ and Burgers!!! With plenty of veggie options of course.

Thanks to loyal reader Tara for the FB link to Creekside Taphouse. That came in response to a question from Ashvegas loyal reader Stuart, who asked:

Hey Jason-

Here in Haw Creek it looks like the doors are closed and the net down at rubys. The for sale sign is also gone. There is paper covering the windows and a few cars in the parking lot each day- any idea what is going to be there in the future?

Checking….. Anyone?

I was told by one of the Ruby’s bartenders that it would re-open around Aug 15. It will be under new management and perhaps use the name Creekside Cafe (which I beloved was the name before it bacame Ruby’s).
