Serving lunch, dinner and drinks, a new gastropub is opening soon in Swannanoa. At the recent soft opening the menu included sliders, wings and pork-belly pizza.

According to its UrbanSpoon page, the venue plans to be open late and include live music and outdoor dining. It’s also hiring kitchen staff, bartenders and servers with 3-5 years of restaurant experience: Craigslist link here.

Native Kitchen is at 204 Whitson Ave. in Swannanoa, I’m guessing in the former location of the excellent and lamented Puebla Restaurant, which is seeking a new location last I heard. The grand opening is Tuesday, August. 28.
