Catawba Valley Brewing to announce plans for Asheville brewery at Beer Week event

catawba_valley-brewingThis is gonna be a great event, not only because of the pairing – Fig Bistro and Catawba Valley Brewing – but because we’ll get details of Catawba’s new brewery in Asheville.

In celebration of Asheville Beer Week, FIG Bistro and Catawba Valley Brewing will be hosting a beer and food pairing dinner. The evening will feature four courses, each appropriately paired with a Catawba beer that accentuates the culinary experience. Beers featured will include the Vanilla Saison, Black Dome Stout, Hooligan King Scotch Ale, and the Pain pour Nicole. Details about the dinner are still under development and will be forthcoming.

In addition to great food and beer, pros from FIG and Catawba Brewing will be on hand to discuss each pairing. Additionally, Catawba Valley Brewing will be using this event to release details about their new Asheville Brewery. This will be a truly special evening full of surprises!

The event takes place on Sunday Evening, May 26th beginning at 6:00 pm. The cost of the dinner is $50 per person (not including tax or tip). Reservations are required and can be made by calling FIG Bistro at (828) 277-0889.
