all_go_west_2015The All Go West music festival has been a popular event on Haywood Road in West Asheville the past few years. Now the event has been canceled.

Here’s the All Go West Facebook post:

Update regarding All Go West 2015: It is with an extremely heavy heart that the staff of All Go West Music Festival will be unable to proceed with the planning of this year’s event. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported the festival through the years especially River Link, Isis Restaurant and Music Hall, The Mothlight, Asheville Freemedia & the artists that make Asheville one of the greatest and most artistically diverse communities in the world. Music discovery is our lifeblood, we encourage everyone to continue supporting and experiencing the diverse arts at these West Asheville performance venues, every performance venue in Asheville, NC and the world abroad. This is a real bummer, last year’s event was a great time and extremely well-attended, and they booked a great mix of local and regional bands. It was also a great introduction to some West Asheville venues I hadn’t been to before, like the Mothlight and Isis.
