-Reward offered in National Guard Armory vehicle fires: From a press release:

The USACIDC is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest or apprehension and conviction of the perpetrator responsible for the arson of government property that occurred at the National Guard Armory on February 3, 2015. Anyone with information should contact the Asheville-Buncombe Arson Task Force 828-255-5321 or the Fort Jackson CID office 803-751-7664.

On February 3, 2015 the Asheville Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire at 141 Minuteman Dr. Companies had to force entry through locked gates and were faced with two vehicle fires. The majority of the fire was quickly extinguished but due to construction of the vehicles there was fire damage internally. It has been determined these fire were intentionally set and because the incident occurred on government property the investigation is being handled jointly by the Asheville-Buncombe Arson Task Force and the USACIDC.

For further information regarding this reward please contact the AB Task Force 828-255-5321 or the Fort Jackson CID office at 803-751-7664.
