Here’s more of what’s going around:

-The Big Crafty is this Sunday at Pack Square Park. It’s like Christmas in July. Get out and support all those artists and makers.

-Spartina 449 is a new business in the Biltmore Village shopping area located at 4 Swan Street. The business, which specializes in women’s apparel, will have a ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration from 4-7 p.m. on July 24.

NEST Boutique + DIY Studio is planning to open a second location in downtown Asheville on North Lexington Avenue. Look for an August opening.

-Odyssey Fitness is planning to open at 802 Fairview Road.

-Reems Creek Nursery is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

-Biltmore Coffee Roasters on Hendersonville Road is now Round Earth Roasters.

-Room to Dance, a new dance club targeting a slightly older demographic than your typical nightclub, is coming to 175 Biltmore Ave.

-The owners of the former Bank of America building on Patton Avenue across from Pritchard Park have listed that property for sale. The site was approved for a hotel back in 2017. (Thanks to loyal reader B for the heads-up.)

-Soon there will be not one, but two, dollar stores side-by-side on Patton Avenue near the Goodwill. What’s up with that?
