The Third Annual Asheville Beer Week launches May 23-31st, 2014 in Asheville and surrounding western North Carolina, culminating with the Beer City Festival on Saturday, May 31st in downtown Asheville on Roger McGuire Green.

Organized by industry professionals and beer lovers, in collaboration with the Asheville Brewers Alliance, Asheville Beer Week will offer a full week of tap takeovers, special releases, beer dinners, film events and fun festivities. Find a new favorite homebrew at “Just Brew It!”, benefiting Just Economics; sample IPAs at Innovation Brewing’s Tap-Takeover; enter the Carolina Cinemas & Oskar Blues CAN Film Competition for a chance to brew your own OB creation; join Sunny Point and Sierra Nevada for a tasty beer dinner; and, celebrate 20 years with Highland Brewing Company at their Razor Wit Release Party. The 5th Annual Beer City Festival wraps up Asheville Beer Week May 31st, 2014 on Roger McGuire Green from 1pm-6pm. Celebrate at the brewers’ festival, with taps from dozens of breweries and plenty of live music, with proceeds benefiting Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Western North Carolina and the Asheville Brewers Alliance. $45 tickets will be available at select local establishments beginning April 15, and online for $50 beginning May 1.
